Getberget's Recreational Area

Several hiking trails of varying lengths within walking distance of the town centre.

The area around Getberget offers several hiking trails of varying lengths. From the top of Getberget, hikers can enjoy far-reaching views of the surrounding landscape. There are also several picnic areas with fire pits throughout the area. The trails form a network of interconnected routes and all start from Skansvägen in the western part of Jokkmokk.

Klipptjärn

Marked in white and red. It is an easy walk with no major difficulties. At Klipptjärn, you will find a beautiful reast area beside the water, where you can cook over an open fire, enjoy a picnic, or simply take in the natural surroundings. Firewood is available on site.

Distance: 1.6 km.

Tsakimturen

Marked in blue. The trail stretches for approximately 2.8 km through varied terrain. It passes through mature forest, powerl-line clearings, mires, boundary lines and along a lakeshore, offering a typical glimpse of the northern Swedish landscape. There is a rest area on the eastern shore of Lake Tsakim. 

Distance: 2.8 km.

Hollandsleden

Marked in white and green. The trail can be accessed from Skabram Campsite. The trail crosses an extensive mire, with boardwalks provided over the wettest sections. Beyond the mire, the trail joins the Tsakimturen before the two routes diverge further on. Hollandsleden continues uphill through mixed woodland, reaching higher, and dryer ground with beautiful, exposed rock surfaces. The trail ends, or begins, where it joins the 10 km long ski trail.

Distance: 1.8 km.

Norra Åsleden

Marked in yellow. A short but undulating trail that passes through woodland, with beautiful views at some points.

Distance: 800 metres.

Södra Åsleden

Marked in white and blue. A short undulating trail that passes through woodland, with beautiful views at points.

Distance: 1.1 km.
